Setanta (or Táin) Wall, Dublin, Ireland
A portion of a mosaic mural that goes by the name of the Táin Wall in Dublin (Desmond Kinney,1974). It shows Cúchulainn, fatally wounded, having tied himself to a tree so he could die standing and facing his enemies. His horse, Grey of Macha, is fighting with him. The raven is Mórrígan, a battle-goddess, sits on his shoulder after he dies. The long haired woman on horseback to the right is Queen Maeve.
