Northern Traditional Dancers

I attended a Pow Wow for the first time last week at the Tk’emlups Indian Band Powwow grounds in Kamloops. The dancers shown are Northern Traditional dancers (a style of dance and specific dress) who came from Saskatchewan for the event taken during the Grand Entry. This was a three day dance, drum and singing competition.
Rather than write a longwinded commentary, here is a link to an excellent historical overview. http://scaa.sk.ca/ourlegacy/exhibit_powwow
